Frameless doors must be installed before final plastering. At the same time, you need to know exactly how much your floor level will rise relative to the draft level. This information is necessary for installers to correctly install the aluminum box at the correct level. Thus, after laying the floor, there will be no gaps between the finished floor covering and the aluminum box.
The advantage of concealed installation doors is that there is no need to prepare the door opening for this type of door at all, because the aluminum box can be placed even on the uneven masonry of the door opening, and then the inner part of the opening can be decorated with plasterboard and plaster. And plaster the front part of the aluminum box for hidden installation doors with the same finishing plaster. Do not forget to lay a painter’s net along the perimeter of the aluminum box and the wall to avoid micro-cracks in the plaster.
Everything is very simple, mdf is really not friendly with moisture, or rather direct and constant contact of water with it, but after the door panels are painted at our factory along the entire perimeter with an Italian white primer to create adhesion to the following materials and in order to plug the pores in MDF. After this treatment, mdf already begins to be friends with water and is not afraid of it as before, since the mdf pores are already blocked. All you have to do is apply the same water-based paint that you bought for the walls to the door leaf. It is important that the paint you choose is resistant to washing, and then I can say with confidence that hidden installation doors painted using this technology will be best friends with the bathroom.
